A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND, located in St. James Parish, Louisiana, together with all rights, ways, servitudes and improvements thereto appertaining, being a portion of Golden Grove Plantation and containing 4.02 acres, more or less, located in Cut No. 68 of said plantation, as shown on attached Photostat of map of J.C. Waties (and also will more fully appear by reference to blueprint with lines and measurements taken by H.D. Martin and S. L. Davis, January 28, 1946, which is attached hereto and made part hereof by reference) which tract is bounded by the Louisiana and Arkansas Railway Company on the southeast, by the Airline Highway on the Northwest, by property of Colonial Sugars Company on the Northeast, which is more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a point where the Northeasterly boundary of the property belonging to Henry Martin (2.32 acres lot on the South side of Airline Highway as purchased from Colonial Sugars Company on April 26, 1946, intersects the right-of-way of said Airline Highway on an Easterly direction (N83 degrees 30’ E) for a distance of 300 feet to an iron pipe marking the Northeast corner; thence south 350 degrees E a distance of 663.2 feet to an iron pipe marking the Southeast corner where said line intersects the right-of-way of the Louisiana Arkansas Railway Company; thence in a westerly direction (S83 degrees 30’W) along said right-of-way of the Louisiana and Arkansas Railway Company a distance of 300 feet to a point where the northeasterly boundary of property presently belonging to Henry Martin intersects said right-of-way of the Louisiana and Arkansas Railway Company; thence (N25 degrees W) a distance of 663.2 feet to the point of beginning. |
