Matthew is a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He earned his B.S. in International Trade & Finance at Louisiana State University in 2010. During his undergraduate studies, he was awarded membership in Omicron Delta Epsilon [the International Honor Society for Economics]. After college, Matthew held an internship at the anti-distracted driving tech firm 'CellControl'. Matthew decided to join Saurage Rotenberg Commercial Real Estate, LLC in January of 2011 with the goal of learning from its Founders, Hank Saurage & Edward Rotenberg, along with the large number of experienced brokers already practicing at the firm.

2018 marks Matthew's 8th year working the Baton Rouge Commercial Real Estate market. By combining resilient work ethic and a thirst for knowledge, Matthew has achieved consistent year over year growth in both Sale & Lease Volume. Providing insightful Financial/Market Analysis, while maintaining excellent Customer Service are the Pillars on how Matthew builds successful client relationships.

In April 2016, Matthew achieved his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation, distinguishing him as one of the youngest designees in the state of Louisiana. Fewer than 10% of all commercial practitioners hold this designation nationwide. During his CCIM candidacy, he was awarded the 2013 Louisiana CCIM Scholarship. Matthew's professional memberships include the Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS® Commercial Investment Division ('16 & '17 Board Member), the Louisiana CCIM Chapter, and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Matthew has worked alongside Associated Grocers, The Brighton School, The GEO Foundation, IDEA Charter School, The Ascension Parish School Board, Synergy Bank, The Kolache Kitchen & French Truck Coffee.

As a developer, Matthew has successfully redeveloped an under-utilized building in Baton Rouge's Mid City district. The Project is now home to the New Orleans based French Truck Coffee at 2978 Government Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70806.

In his personal life, Matthew volunteers part of his week at First United Methodist Church's 'HYPE' program, which offers after school services for Students at Bernard Terrace Elementary School.
