Acadiana Commercial Outlook Thursday, April 6th 8:30am – 12:30p

The REALTORS® Commercial Alliance of Acadiana hosts this annual event to examine the state of the industry in Acadiana as well as focus on emerging trends and the future outlook for commercial real estate.

The decline in the oil and gas industry has had a major effect on Acadiana. Lenny Lemoine, CEO of The Lemoine Company, will be the keynote speaker for the 2017 Acadiana Commercial Outlook. Lenny will provide his perspective on the economic outlook for 2017 and how the economic decline of the energy industry has affected the commercial construction industry.

Commercial real estate segments to be discussed include: Retail with Ryan Pécot of Stirling Properties, Office with Todd Trahan of Trahan Real Estate Group, Industrial with Coldwell Banker Commercial Pelican’s David Gleason and Multi-family with Beau Bourque of Trahan Real Estate Group. The seminar will be moderated by Monty Warren of Beau Box Commercial Real Estate.

Closing the seminar, Steven Picou, Director of Lafayette Regional Airport, will give attendees an update on the status of the new terminal as well as an outlook on how the new terminal will impact businesses and the real estate industry moving forward. Having this information is critical for the attendees who are working to bring their clients’ businesses to this area as well as for those attendees working with current clients who rely on the Lafayette Regional Airport for transportation.
